Father Nehme Saliba
Father Nehme Saliba is a Lebanese priest serving in the Greek Orthodox Church of the Resurrection Hall – Hazmieh and a judge in the Orthodox Spiritual Court of the Archdiocese of Mount Lebanon. He is also a researcher specializing in Christian-Islamic relations.
Father Saliba holds a Ph.D. from the Faculty of Religious Sciences at Saint Joseph University. He is a member of several civil associations concerned with dialogue and spiritual accompaniment, a member of the International Fellowship Program of the KAICIID Dialogue Centre, and a member of the Board of Directors of the Gladic Association–Lebanon. He is also active in the Orthodox Youth Movement, works as a trainer on dialogue, and is the founder of the “Arab Youth Forum for Dialogue between Followers of Cultures and Religions.”
He is the author of the book Religious Freedom between Theory and Reality, published by the Al-Nour Cooperative for Publishing. Father Saliba also participated in the film On the Path of Sacrifice, which won first prize at the Iranian Foreign Film Festival.
Currently, Father Saliba serves as the Chaplain and Spiritual Care Provider of the NGO “SAWA for Palliative Care.”
