Mr. Elias Baz is a distinguished banker with over 35 years of experience in finance, auditing, and banking operations.

He holds both a Bachelor’s degree and an MBA in Business Administration from the American University of Beirut, graduating with distinction.

His career began as a Senior Auditor at Deloitte & Touche before transitioning to academia, where he spent 20 years at the Lebanese American University, ultimately serving as Vice President for Finance and Administration. In 2006, he joined First National Bank (FNB) as Advisor to the Chairman, was promoted to Deputy General Manager in 2010, and became General Manager in 2012.

In his current role, he oversees all control and support functions, chairs major management committees, and plays a key role in strategic decision-making. Mr. Baz also serves on the boards of several FNB Group subsidiaries, including Middle East Capital Group SAL, Capital Finance Company, and Capital Finance House, contributing significantly to Lebanon’s banking and financial services sector.
